Cairo, SANA-Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East Gregorios III Laham expressed hope to prevail security and stability in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and other countries in the region, and the return of all displaced people to their homelands.
Heading a mass at the Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Shubra district,Cairo, on Sunday Patriarch Laham
called on major powers in the world to keep their promise and work on realizing peace in the region.
The Patriarch pointed out that Christians in the region are living peacefully with their Muslim brothers and will stay there even if others persist in destruction.
