Damascus, SANA- Saturday temperatures remain lower than average from 6 to 9 degrees as the country is being affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet cold air currents.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes; local rain showers and snow are expected over several areas across the country.
The Department said that the winds will be western and of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of moderate
amplitude.
On Sunday, temperatures will rise, yet remain lower than average. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes; local rain showers are expected over various areas across the country and snow over the mountains.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 06/-1, Daraa 06/01, Homs 06/-1, Hama 05/-2, Hasaka 02/-1, Lattakia 08/04, Aleppo 04/-2 and Deir Ezzor 05/02.
