Terrorist mortar attacks in Damascus city injure five civilians

Damascus, SANA – Five civilians were injured due to terrorist mortar attacks on neighborhoods in Damascus city on Tuesday.

A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorists positioned in Eastern Ghouta fired four mortar shells that fell in al-Soufaniyeh Park and al-Sheikh Raslan area in Bab Touma neighborhood in Old Damascus, leaving five civilians injured and causing material damage to the locals’ properties.

The source added that five other mortar shells hit Omar al-Abrash School and near al-Hajibiyeh Mosque in al-Sheikh Mehie Eddin neighborhood and in al-Faihaa Sorts Hall and al-Adawi neighborhood, causing material damage to public and private properties but no human casualties.
