Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and the armed forces on Monday continued to tighten the noose around the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country,establishing control over new areas and destroying terrorists’ headquarters and equipment and killing scores of them.
Homs
Hawareen and Maheen under Army control
Homs, SANA- Units of the army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established full control over Maheen town and Hawareen Village after destroying the last positions of ISIS terrorists in them in intensive military operations carried out in the southeastern countryside of the central Homs province, a military source said Monday.
The source told SANA that units of the army are combing the town and the village which are about 85 km to the southeast of Homs City, and they are dismantling the explosive devices planted by ISIS terrorists among houses of the citizens and at the roads and the agricultural lands.
In the northern countryside of Homs, the Syrian Air Force carried out sorties against the gatherings and positions of Jabhat al-Nusra in Teir Ma’ala village, destroying a number of terrorists’ positions and vehicles along with all the terrorists and weapons inside them.
Earlier Sunday, the Syrian Army Air Force conducted a series of strikes against positions and movements of ISIS terrorists in the two towns, destroyed their positions and killed all terrorists inside as well as destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.
Lattakia
1154 height under army control
A military source said Monday that full control was established over the Height 1154,5 in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia province after the army units in cooperation with popular defense groups inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the arms and personnel.
Units of the army and the armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups continued to advance in the northern countryside of the province, establishing control over the Height 1154,5 around one km to the south of Kabbana village.
The source added that army units used special tactics that are suitable for the nature of the area, killing scores of Takfiri terrorists, most of them of Afghani nationality, in addition to destroying their fortifications with all the arms and ammunition inside them.
Later, a military source said that army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over al-Moroj, Jabal Beit Ahmad, Jabal al-Qrima, Juret al-Mai, Beit Marouf, Beit Najib Bshara, Ketf al-Ghanma, and al-Rashwan in Lattakia countryside.
Deir Ezzor
More than 40 ISIS terrorists killed
Units of the army and armed forces killed more than 40 ISIS terrorists and destroyed a number of their headquarters and stores of ammunition and of manufacturing explosive devices and other explosives in Deir Ezzor Province.
Field sources told SANA Monday that headquarters of the ISIS terrorists were destroyed, one of them was used for manufacturing explosives, in special operations carried out by units of the army against dens of the ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of Aisha School and Conserves Factory and in al-Ashara in al- Mayadeen City in the southeastern countryside of the province.
The sources added that units of the army, positioned in Deir Ezzor Military Airport, killed 6 terrorists, one of them was of Chechen nationality, in the surroundings of the Airport, in addition to destroying one of the terrorists’ trucks at al-Taim oil field.
Meanwhile, one of the headquarters of ISIS terrorists was also destroyed and all terrorists inside were killed in al-Jafra village in the eastern countryside in a special operation carried out by a unit of the army.
More than 28 terrorists were also killed and a number of their headquarters, which were used for manufacturing explosive devices and storing arms and ammunition, were destroyed in operations carried out by the army against ISIS hotbeds in the neighborhoods of al-Hwaiqa and al-Omal and near al-Siyasia Bridge in Deir Ezzor city.
Later, a military source told SANA that the Syrian Air Force destroyed the fortified positions of ISIS in Janina and al-Bolil villages in the northern and eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, in addition to inflicting heavy losses on terrorists in al-Hwaiqa and al-Jbila neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city.
Hama
More 28 terrorists killed in Hama province
The Syrian army air force targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Kafer Zaita town and Atshan village in the countryside of Hama province, destroying a number of their headquarters with all weapons and ammunition inside them.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that a self-claimed leader of the so-called “al- Izza Battalions and Brigades Gathering”, nicknamed Ali al-Laban and 3 of his group’s members, among them Mohammad al-Mustafa and Khaled al-Badawi were killed in the army operations in Kafer Zaita village in the northern countryside of Hama province.
The sources added that an army unit destroyed 2 vehicles for the so-called Jund al- Aqsa terrorist organization, killing 13 of its members in Murek town, 30 km north of Hama city, among them the self-claimed leader Asa’d al-Kasem, Khaled al-Hussein, Mohammad al-Ashtar and Ali Younes al-Hamad.
Another 11 terrorists were killed including self-claimed leaders Ahmad Yaser al-Katan, Khalif al-Ali and Khaled al-Abdali and a mortar and rocket launcher pad was destroyed in the army operations against the so-called Jaish al-Fateh terrorist organization in the villages of Lahaya, Ma’arkabeh and Atshan.
Idleb
At least 12 terrorists killed in Idleb Province
In the southern countryside of the bordering province, an army unit targeted the terrorist organization’s gatherings in al-Hamdiyeh village, destroying 2 vehicles for them and killing 7 of their members, among them Muhanna Bilal.
Another army unit killed at least 5 terrorists of the so-called Jund al-Aqsa terrorist organization, according to field sources.
Aleppo
The Syrian army air force targeted positions for ISIS terrorist organization in the villages of Akomeh, Rasm al-Abd, east of Kaskeis village, Deir Hfer town and Tal Ayoub in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
A number of ISIS terrorists’ positions and various machinegun- equipped vehicles were destroyed in the air force raids.
The army inflicted heavy losses on ISIS terrorists in personnel and weapons in Shamer village, Talet al-Shawaya in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo province.
In Aleppo southern countryside, army units targeted positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and other Takfiri terrorist organizations in the villages of Khan Touman, Kherbet Ma’rata, al-Ameriyeh, Karm Azeeza, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and arms and vehicles.
Meanwhile, army units thwarted terrorist groups’ attack on the axes of Talet Bazo, Talet al-Rakhm, al-Hekma school and Talet al-Sunawbariyat in Aleppo countryside, killing most of their members while forced others to escape.
A unit of army launched strikes against ISIS positions in Tal al-Sous to the north of Deir Hafer town in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Army units targeted terrorists’ hotbeds in al-Sheikh Lotfi, Bustan al-Qasr, Karm al-Jabal, Bustan al-Basha, al-Sheikh Khudr, Bani Zeid, al-Rashideen Arba’a and Salahu-Din neighborhoods, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
In the northern countryside of the province, an army unit thwarted an attack by terrorists on a military post in Bashkoi area to the north of Aleppo city and destroyed their vehicles which were equipped with machine guns, arms and ammunition.
Terrorists’ gatherings and vehicles were destroyed in Dweir al-Zaitoun village near Bashkoi, 10 kilometers to the west of Aleppo.
In Aleppo city, army units destroyed hideouts for Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Said, al-Ramousa, al-Ma’adi and Halawaniyeh.
Damascus Countryside
Army units carried out extensive operations against the armed terrorist groups in Harasta area in Damascus Countryside, establishing control over a number of building blocks that were under the control of the so-called “Jaish al-Islam” terrorist organization and destroying their fortifications and weaponry.
A tunnel was discovered and destroyed and the military engineering units dismantled a number of explosive devices planted by the terrorists before they flee the area.
Army units destroyed a workshop for making explosive devices, mortar launcher and various vehicles for terrorist organizations in Eastern Ghouta.
A workshop for making mortar shells, three vehicles and a headquarter for Jaish al-Islam terrorists were destroyed during an operation by an army unit in the surroundings of Beit Sawa village, five kilometers to the south of Douma city and killing a number of terrorists.
Army units directed concentrated strikes to terrorists’ gatherings in Douma and near Adam gas station in Aliya farms destroying a mortar launcher and three vehicles and killing a number of terrorists.
A headquarter for terrorist organizations was destroyed in Irbeen town and a number of terrorists were killed.
Meanwhile, army units carried out intensive operations against positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the so-called Jaish al-Islam and the Islamic Union for Ajnad al-Sham in the eastern side of Marj al-Sultan airport and in the farms of Marj al-Sultan village leaving many dead terrorists in their ranks.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed a vehicle and a heavy machinegun for Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa al-Balad and killed a number of terrorists.
Another unit eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group in Daraa al-Mahhata and destroyed their heavy machineguns.
The army also targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in the farms of al-Bitar and al-Ghizlan and Tafas in Daraa north-western countryside.
Sweida
The army destroyed a number of ISIS hideouts in Tal Ashihab al-Janoubi and Tal al-Sheikh Hussein in Sweida’s north-eastern countryside, killing scores of terrorists and obliterating their weaponry.
