Kurz: Veinna talks show seriousness regarding resolving crisis in Syria

Vienna, SANA – Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz said that the holding of a new round of talks on Syria in Vienna is an indicator of how serious all sides are regarding reaching a political solution for the crisis in Syria.

In a statement on Friday following his meeting with UN Special Envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura, Kurz stressed the need the reach a solid position in negotiations that may serve as a principle on which regional and international forces agree.

Vienna will host on Saturday a new round of talks on Syria as a follow-up to the meeting held in October there with the participation of the five Security Council permanent member states and delegations from the Middle East.
