Reconciliation Minister meets relatives of abducted and missing people in Sweida

Sweida, SANA – Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar said reconciliation is the Syrians’ choice that will lead them to a better tomorrow and constitutes an additional force for the state.

The Minister was speaking during a meeting with popular and religious figures and relatives of abducted and missing people from the province of Sweida.

While stating that “The culture of social reconciliation has become a conviction for the majority of the Syrian people,” Haidar affirmed that the reconciliation project in the country is running parallel with counterterrorism efforts.

He called on all citizens to play their role fully and actively in the reconciliation efforts nationwide in order to more effectively confront the publicly declared aggressive war waged against the country and the state.

Haidar asserted that the Syrian state will spare no effort to tackle the file of the missing and abducted people due to the events in the country until their fate is known.
