Russian Defense Ministry publishes aerial photos of hospital allegedly destroyed in Syria

Moscow, SANA – The Russian Defense Ministry posted on their official accounts in social networks the results of its own investigation following reports in foreign media about Russian airstrikes on civilian targets in Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry said it has conducted a thorough check of all the “facts” which determined the complete groundlessness of the published “video evidence” which allegedly showed that Russian airstrikes had been carried out on the hospital in Sarmin.

The Ministry posted aerial photographs taken on October 31 (after the alleged date of the airstrike on the hospital) which show the building of the hospital in Sarmin and the surrounding buildings, and that the hospitals and the houses around them are intact and undamaged, and the streets around them aren’t damaged either, in contrast to the video footage published by Western media.

According to the Ministry, the towns (al-Eis, al-Hader, Khan Tuman, Latamna and al-Zirba) where hospitals were allegedly bombed by the Russian Air Force have no hospitals at all.
