Provinces, SANA – The army units targeted terrorist organizations in various areas across the country, killing more of their members and destroying their vehicles and weapons.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit killed 9 terrorists from “Ajnad al-Sham Islamic Union” in Daraya in Damascus countryside, a military source said.
Two Palestinian terrorists named Ayham al-Salem and Mohammad Maslamani were among the dead.
Army units killed a number of terrorists during concentrated operations against dens of Jabhat al-Nusra and Jaish al-Islam in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside.
Army units restored control over new blocks of buildings and destroyed fortified positions belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra during army’s continuous operations on Nawla and Marj al-Sultan axes to the south of Eastern Ghouta.

Sweida
In the neighboring province of Sweida, an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups carried out an operation against a den belonging to ISIS’ leaders in Tal Ishyhib al-Janoubi in the northeast countryside of Sweida.
The operation caused the destruction of the den with all terrorists and weapons inside it.
