Provinces, SANA – The army units continued to advance in the course of operations going on across the country, establishing control over more areas in Aleppo.
Aleppo
Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over Kafr Obeid village and the surroundings of Blas village in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source announced on Thursday.
The engineering units, the source told SANA, have combed Kafr Obeid village after eliminating all of the terrorists’ positions there.
Dozens of explosive devices, which the terrorists had planted among the residents’ houses and in the village’ farms, were dismantled, the source said.
The army has been steadily advancing in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo after it launched a wide operation there last Friday.
Later on the day, the army’s air force destroyed hideouts and vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Zeitan village in the southern countryside.
The air force also conducted sorties against headquarters and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in al-Halabiyeh and al-Hamra villages, Tallet al-Shawaya and the Syrian Saudi Chemical Company (SYSACCO) in the eastern countryside.
Hama
An army unit clashed last night with large numbers of terrorists who attacked a military post in al-Hamra village in the northeastern countryside of the central Hama province.
Field sources told SANA that the clashes left at least 30 terrorists dead, noting that most of those were foreigners.
Two tanks, a 23 mm cannon, an anti-tank machinegun and 6 vehicles transporting dozens of terrorists were destroyed in the confrontations, the source said.
The army’s air force launched airstrikes against dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists in the villages of Buweid al-Qibli, Tal Mahdar, Ras al-Ayn and Arfa in al-Hamra area.
The air force targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Eqeirbat village to the east of Salamiyeh city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and equipment.
An army unit destroyed a bulldozer for terrorists near al-Latamneh town in the northern countryside of Hama province.
Homs
Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups reestablished control over Snisil and al-Mahatta villages and Jawalak village in the northern countryside of Homs.
The army’s air force launched airstrikes against positions of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists in various areas in the countryside of Homs province.
Gatherings of ISIS terrorists were destroyed in al-Qaryatain city in the southeastern countryside, while ISIS hideouts were also destroyed in Abu Hawadit village in eastern Homs.
In al-Rastan city to the north of Homs city, the army air strikes destroyed a Jabhat al-Nusra position.
Many terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed as a result of the air strikes that targeted the aforementioned sites.
Damascus countryside
The army killed a number of terrorists in al-Smadi and Harasta farms in eastern al-Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
Mohammad Raslan, Ahmad Salah and Samer Waweh from “Jaish al-Islam” were identified among the dead terrorists.
Field sources told SANA that the army units advanced into the al-Mashtal al-Zirae’e after 24-hours of establishing control on al-Majbal region in Harasta.
The field sources confirmed the death of terrorists Mohammad Suleiman, Wasim al-ghoush and Ahmad al-Dahla in Zamalka in the army operations against Takfiri terrorists in Zamalka town.
Meanwhile, the army also killed many terrorists in other operations against cells of terrorists in Douma.
Yousef al-Deiri, Abdull-Rahman Sultana and Ibrahim Naji were identified among the dead terrorists.
Deir Ezzor
Army units killed all members of an ISIS terrorist group who attempted to infiltrate the surroundings of Deir Ezzor airport, according to field sources.
An army unit expanded its control towards the Ceramic Factory in al-Mrei’iyeh village, 10km east of Deir Ezzor, killing 14 ISIS terrorists and injured others positioned inside the factory, while other terrorists escaped.
The army artillery force targeted ISIS terrorists’ gatherings in the vicinity of al-Seyasiyeh Bridge on the northern entrance of Deir Ezzor city, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and equipment.
Another army unit targeted a hideout for ISIS terrorist in al-Sena’a neighborhood, resulting in destroying it with all its arms and killing the terrorists who were inside it .
More dens and vehicles for terrorists were destroyed in army airstrikes in al-Mrei’iyeh and al-Jafra.
