Warsaw, SANA – The Syrian economic delegation currently visiting Poland, headed by Assistant Minister of Industry Nidal Fallouh, discussed on Tuesday with President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (PCC) Andrzej Arendarski means of enhancing commercial and economic relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, Fallouh and the delegation members reviewed the economic situation in Syria in addition to the negative impact on different economic sectors in Syria due to the attacks of the terrorist originations, stressing that Syrians wish to boost cooperation with Poland and revitalizing relations between the two countries.
They also pointed out that Arendarski’s invitation for the Syrian delegation to visit Warsaw, especially in the current conditions, has a lot of positive connotations.
For his part, Arendarski gave a detailed presentation on the state of the relations between the two countries in commercial and economic fields, hoping that these relations will return to their former state.
He also expressed his country’s readiness to assist Syria during the reconstruction stage and to provide all its expertise in this field.
