Damascus, SANA, Embassy of Belarus held a reception Wednesday celebrating the promotion of Dr. Wael Batal to be Honorary General Counsel of Belarus in Syria.
Assistant Foreign Minister Dr. Ayman Sousan told SANA that Batal is the first General Counsel in Syria, a move reflects the depth of relations between Syria and Belarus in all fields, indicating that this promotion is an appreciation of his exerted efforts to enhance relations between the two friendly countries.
Sousan expressed appreciation of Belarus’s political stances in supporting Syria in facing the terrorist aggression together with its stances in all economic, industrial and trade fields.
The celebration was attended by a number of ministers, Belarus ambassador and representatives of Minsk car factory.
