Provinces, SANA – Dozens of terrorists were killed as the army units carried out intensified operations against their positions, destroying also their equipment and heavy weapons.
Aleppo
50 ISIS and Nusra terrorists killed
At least 50 terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS, were killed as the army units targeted their positions and hideouts in the city and countryside of Aleppo.
A military source told SANA on Wednesday that the army operations in Aleppo city took place in the neighborhoods of Karm al-Jabal, Suleiman al-Halabi, al-Rashidin, al-Ramousa, al-Khalediyeh, al-Lairamoun, al-Sakhour, Bani Zaid and Bustan al-Basha.
A number of terrorists were killed and their vehicles, some of them equipped with machinegun and various ammunition in addition to rocket launcher pads that targeted that secure neighborhoods were destroyed.
Terrorists were also targeted in al-Mansoura village in the western countryside of Aleppo province and in the villages of Tal al-Naam, Tal al-Alam, Ain Sabel, aL-Radwaniyeh, al-Rayan, al-Jabboul, Tal Istabl and Treidem in the southeastern countryside.
Meanwhile in the eastern countryside, the army units defending the Air Force Academy killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their weapons in the vicinity of the Academy.
The army operations also left a number of the terrorists’ vehicles, some equipped with machine guns, destroyed.
The Army’s Air force carried out on Wednesday afternoon intensive strikes that targeted the movements of terrorist organizations in Khan al-Asal, the Journalists association, al-Sabeiha, al-Qaroutieh, Hueijena, Jub al-Safa, Kabara, houses of the thermal station, al-Rudwaneih farms, Balat and al-Naseriyeh.
The air strikes resulted in killing a number of terrorists and destroying their dens, arms and ammunition.
Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages that a number of their members were killed.
Deir Ezzor
14 ISIS terrorists killed
An army unit targeted last night ISIS hideouts in Mrat village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.
Field sources told SANA Wednesday that the army operation left more than 14 ISIS terrorists dead, noting that those included Khaled al-Ayash, Asaad Mohammad al-Ayash, Yazan Mohammad al-Ayash, Ahmad al-Shouk and Izz-Eddin al-Moheimid.
Other terrorists were injured, the sources added, noting that some of those are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, media sources said at least 100 ISIS terrorists were killed and 115 others were injured in al-Kharita village in western Deir Ezzor on Monday.
The Army’s air Force destroyed vehicles for ISIS terrorists during air strikes against their dens in al-Mreiya area.
Daraa
Two vehicles, one of which was equipped with a heavy machinegun, were destroyed along with all terrorists inside them during an operation by army units in al-Karak neighborhood and to the south of the Technical Institute in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.
The army’s operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Siba and al-Arbain neighborhoods in the same area resulted in the death of many terrorists and in injuring many others, as well as destroying of their weapons and ammunition.
Another army unit thwarted terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate from the southeast side of SyriaTel building and from west of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque towards al-Minshia neighborhood to support terrorists there who are retreating under army’s onslaught, and this left many of the attacking terrorists dead or injured.
Sweida
Army units targeted ISIS gathering in Kherbat Saab in Sweida’s north-eastern countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and weaponry.
Quneitra
5 terrorists killed
The so called ” Bait al-Maqdes in Horan and Golan” terrorist group admitted today that five of its members were killed in Quneitra countryside.
The group posted on its social media pages names and photos of its killed members: Abdul-Rahman Mohamad Sharif nicknamed ” Abu Qutada”, Anas Khaled Abu Zerieq, Omar Abu Jarah, Mustafa Abu Abdo and Abu Khalil al-Ghoutani.
The group is affiliated to the terrorists “of Muslim Brotherhood” which is responsible for hundreds of massacres in Syria and other Arab countries.
Homs
The army’s air force launched airstrikes against dens and gatherings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in al-Qariatin and Tadmour (Palmyra) cities in Homs countryside.
The airstrikes resulted in the death of many ISIS’ members and the destruction of their weapons and vehicles, some of them equipped with machine guns, in Tadmour city and its countryside, the area surrounding al-Shaer oil field and to the north of Um al-Tababir village.
The Army’s airstrikes targeted also ISIS’ gatherings in al-Tadmouria village and their hideouts in al-Qariatin city, destroying their vehicles and ammunition, killing many terrorists and injuring many others.
An army unit killed 23 ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of Hueises in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The army also targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hotbeds in al-Maqali and Talbeseh, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions, including a 23 mm caliber machinegun.
