Damascus countryside, SANA- Activities of “Rebuild Syria 2015” Exhibition, which is open until September 20th, kicked off on Wednesday at Damascus International Fairgrounds.
The exhibition, organized by al-Bashek Establishment for international trade and fairs, is an international commercial exhibition specialized in construction with all its sectors, environment, energy and its equipment, health services, agriculture, communications, water technologies, security services, information technology, tourism, alimentary products, and all other related services and fields.
Public Workers Minister Hussein Arnous told journalists at the opening of the exhibition that this event is an opportunity to showcase and market products properly, noting that 65 local, Arab, and foreign companies are participating in it.
In turn, Ambassador of Belarus in Damascus Alexander Ponomarev said that he attended the exhibition as a representative of the industrial sector in his country, and that Belarus intends to establish large industrial projects in Syria.
For his part, director of al-Bashek Establishment Tamer Yaghi said that the Damascus International Fairgrounds in Damascus Countryside was selected as the venue for the exhibition to revitalize it after a long period of hiatus.
On the sideline of the exhibition, many workshops and lectures by international, governmental and private establishments will be held, in addition to screening a number of documentaries.
