Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be misty and relatively hot and rain showers accompanied by thunder are expected over the southeastern areas and the mountains in the afternoon and the evening.
The wind will be northwestern with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected in al-Qalamoun area.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/21, Lattakia 31/22, Aleppo 35/21, Hama 37/24 and Homs 34/21.
