Damascus, SANA Temperatures will slightly drop, yet remain above average by 4 to 7 degrees as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast accompanied by southwesterly wet winds in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The expected temperature in major cities are: Damascus 38/25, Sweida 34/23, Hama 39/23, Tartous 31/23 and Deir Ezzor 40/26.
The Meteorology Department expected, in its Sunday bulletin, that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and hazy above some regions. Local rain showers are expected over the southern and southeastern areas.
The winds are northwesterly between light to moderate, while the altitude of the sea wave is light, according to the department.
