Damascus, SANA – The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Thursday set the exchange rate of the USD at SYP 283.39 for banks and 283.41 for currency exchange companies.

The USD exchange rate for transfers was set at SYP 282.

The CBS also set the exchange rate of the EUR against the SYP at 307.96 for banks and 307.98 for currency exchange companies, while it was set at SYP 307.69 for transfers.

On Wednesday, the USD exchange rate was SYP 283.38 for banks and 283.41 for currency exchange companies.
