Damascus, SANA- The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Wednesday set the exchange rate of the USD against the SYP at 283.32 for banks with a decrease of “0.07 percent” in comparison with Tuesday 283.39, while the USD was set at SYP 283.41 for currency exchange companies without any change compared with yesterday.
The USD exchange rate for transfers remained at SYP 282 without any decrease or increase.
The CBS also set the exchange rate of the EUR against the SYP at 313.85 for banks with an increase of SYP 2 while the EUR was set at 313.95 for currency exchange companies with an increase of SYP 2.07 in comparison with Tuesday.
The EUR exchange rate for transfers was set at SYP 312.39 without witnessing any decrease or increase compared with Tuesday.
