Moscow, SANA – A delegation of martyrs’ sons and daughters organized on Sunday with their peers from Russia, South Ossetia and the Russian Donbass region a national event dubbed “Syria’s Day” at a youths camp on the Black Sea coast in the Crimean peninsula, southwestern Russia.
The martyrs’ children, visiting Russia upon the invitation of the Russian “Brothers in Arms” Foundation, chanted during the event songs and canticles about Syria and performed popular Syrian dance routines.
“The foundation is keen to look after the martyrs’ children who lost their fathers due to the terrorists’ crimes in Syria,” Dmitry Sablin, Chairman of the Foundation said during his meeting with the visitors, adding that this visit is part and one form of the humanitarian aid provided by Russia to the Syrian people.
The martyrs’ children took part in a military sport activity organized in Moscow suburbs and met, along with their Russian peers, with officers and personnel from the Preobrazhensky Regiment for military ceremonies.
A delegation of martyrs’ children arrived in Moscow on July 4th upon the “Brothers in Arms” foundation’s invitation to spend about two weeks in Russia.
