Peskov: Russia and US hold dialogue about finding solution for crisis in Syria

Moscow, SANA- The Spokesman for Russia’s President Dmitry Peskov announced Thursday that “Russia and the United States hold dialogue to find a solution for the crisis in Syria”.

On the content of the phone call that was held between the Russian president Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Barack Obama, Peskov said that “the dialogue to find a solution for the crisis in Syria is still persistent between the two presidents”.

“Putin and Obama didn’t agree on their approach in regard of finding solution for the crisis in Syria, but the mutual understanding and agreement are different matters”, Peskov affirmed, adding that the two presidents understand each other while the issue of reaching an agreement or not is a different matter.

Putin and Obama agreed on June to ask their foreign ministers to hold a meeting to discuss the war on terrorism, particularly in Syria.
