For his part, Ahmedou indicated that UNICEF will start to rehabilitate the buildings and halls in Jabrin neighborhood in Aleppo City on Thursday after obtaining required licenses and facilitations.

He added that all required measures will be taken at first to rehabilitate the public utilities networks and the basic services , in addition to preparing buildings to be able to receive the affected families as soon as possible.

He pointed out that maintenance work is being done in coordination with Aleppo Governorate and it comes in the framework of the humanitarian efforts exerted by UNICEF to achieve a rapid humanitarian response.

Jabrin neighborhood is located to the east of Aleppo city and it embraces a number of buildings and halls that are under construction, and once the maintenance works finished, they will be able to receive thousands of the displaced families.
