Quneitra, SANA – Quneitra branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent distributed 604 food packages to displaced families living in al-Baath city in Quneitra province on Sunday.

The distribution was carried out in cooperation with the relief subcommittee and al-Baath city’s council.

Izz-Eddin Jraideh, head of Quneitra branch of the Red Crescent, said in a statement to SANA that distribution operations are done in accordance with tables and lists of names of the displaced and affected families due to the terrorist acts.

200 food packages were distributed to affected families in al-Baath city last May, according to the city’s mayor Imad al-Rahban.

However, the total number of food and health packages distributed by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to displaced and affected people in the city since the beginning of 2015 has reached 1500.
