Hama, SANA- Hama Governor Ghassan Khalaf on Thursday called for intensifying the efforts to restore Mhardeh power stationto service as soon as possible after it was subjected to a terrorist attack with rocket shells.
Touring the station with al-Baath party’s secretary in Hama Mohammad al-Emadi, the Governor appreciated the efforts exerted by firefighters and workers at the station who dealt in a proper manner with fires.
Al-Emadi, for his part, said the attack comes in the framework of Syria enemies’ plot to destroy the pivotal facilities, private and public properties, affirming those heinous acts would not affect the Syrians’ stance to continue their lives.
Director of the station Ali Haifa, said initial estimations of the damage volume due to the terrorist attack exceed 850 million SYP.
Terrorists on Wednesday attacked Mhardeh power station with rocket shells, making it to be out of service.
