Aid distribution to displaced people from Yarmouk Camp continues

Damascus, SANA – The General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA), in cooperation with the Syrian government, on Sunday distributed food and medical aid to displaced people from Yarmouk Camp who fled the neighborhood to escape the crimes of terrorist organizations.

Director General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa said that 1,200 bread packages, a drinking water tanker, and food supplements were provided to the displaced people from Yarmouk Camp that are currently staying in the areas of Yelda, Bebila, and Beit Sahm in Damascus Countryside.

The aid distribution team was accompanied by a medical team that provided treatment and medicine to the displaced people.

Mustafa said that food and health aid will also continue to be provided to displaced people from the camp who are staying in Zainab al-Hilaliye center in al-Tadamon area.

Residents of the terrorist-besieged Yarmouk Camp in southern Damascus were forced to flee their homes after terrorists from ISIS entered the area with the help of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.
