Damascus, SANA – The monthly shopping festival, organized by Damascus Chamber of Industry as part of “Live Syria 2015 campaign”, was opened on Monday evening at al-Jala’a Sports Hall in Mazzeh in Damascus, with the participation of 60 companies.
Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Industry Samer al-Debs said that this festival was the third one, adding that it helps consumers find products at reasonable prices as there are considerable discounts.
Al-Debs highlighted that the success of the two previous festivals has led to an increased turnout of visitors, adding that the good turnout indicates that the national economy and industry are recovering.
This festival lasts until May 17th.
“Live Syria 2015” is an initiative that will continue throughout the year with the participation of individuals, establishments, and companies from the public and private sectors with the aim of providing facilitations and services to people and improve their living standards.
