Damascus, SANA – The Economy and Foreign Trade Ministry finished drafting a bill to amend decrees on establishing the Local Production and Exports Support and Development Agency, which involves establishing a fund for the purposes of supporting production and exports.

Economy Minister Humam al-Jazaeri said that developing policies in this regard seeks to make up for the rising production costs, restore balance in the production process, repair production chains, and expand exports.

He said that the bill will be presented to economic and services committees for discussion so that it can be submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
