1,400 food packages distributed among displaced families in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – Around 1,400 food packages were distributed on Monday among displaced and impoverished families from Tal Barak area who are staying in Hasaka city.

The food packages, provided by al-Mawada charity, include vegetable oil, pasta, canned food, tomato paste, salt, flour, rice, lentils, chickpeas, and bulgur.

The charity also set up a bread baking kiln in Tal Hajar neighborhood, which will offer about 10 job opportunities to members of displaced families.

Last week, around 1,000 clothing packages were distributed among people who were injured in the terrorist attack which occurred in al-Mufti neighborhood in the central of Hasaka province. The attack had claimed 37 lives and injured 96.
