Preparing a new department for kidney patients at Hama National Hospital

Hama, SANA- Hama National Hospital began construction and equipping a new department specializing in treating kidney patients, with a capacity of up to 25 beds.

The new department was allocated the ground floor of the building, replacing the old, dilapidated department, as part of a plan aimed at improving medical services provided to patients and relieving pressure on existing departments.

The ongoing work includes the supply and installation of 25 modern kidney dialysis machines equipped with advanced systems, in addition to providing all the necessary medical equipment and technologies to provide comprehensive services in accordance with international standards, Hospital director Dr. Mahmoud Mukheiber said in a statement to a SANA reporter

The project is part of a series of improvements the hospital is undergoing to modernize its infrastructure and be line with medical developments, ensuring the provision of more efficient and speedy services to citizens.
