Prague, SANA – The Syrian community in the Czech Republic vehemently condemned the latest massacre committed by terrorist organizations against the residents of al-Mabouja village in the countryside of al-Salamiyeh in Hama province.
On Tuesday, takfiri terrorist groups attacked al-Mabouja village, killing 48 civilians and injuring many others, while other people were kidnapped. Most of the victims were women and children.
The terrorists also destroyed and burned scores of the civilians’ houses after robbing them.
Members of the community stressed in a statement Wednesday that the countries which back these terrorist organizations, particularly Turkey, the Gulf states and the US, are responsible for this new crime as they provide the military, logistic and financial support and political cover to the terrorists.
“This obnoxious crime against civilians exposes the savagery of the terrorist groups whose practices remind us of the ugly practices of the Ottoman occupation and of Nazi Germany and the practices witnessed in Europe in the Middle Ages,” the statement said.
The community members expressed solidarity with the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.
