Mikdad discusses with Naji the latest developments in occupied territories in light of Zionist aggression on region

Damascus, SANA-Vice President of the Republic, Fayssal Mikdd, discussed with Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Talal Naji and an accompanying delegation, the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the Zionist entity’s escalation of its ongoing war on the region, the crimes of genocide it is committing against the Palestinian people, and the brutal aggression on Lebanon, and its repeated attacks on Syria.

Mikdad stressed Thursday that the genocide war waged by “Israel” against the Palestinian people revealed its true face to the world, denouncing the American and Western support that the occupying entity receives to continue its brutal practices and bloody war against Palestine and Lebanon.

Mikdad renewed Syria’s principled stance regarding the Palestinian issue and its support for the struggle of the Palestinian people to restore their inalienable rights, which are firmly established in the resolutions of international legitimacy and international law. He saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and all resistance forces in the face of the Israeli war machine, which claimed the lives of tens of thousands, most of them are children and women.

In turn, Naji underlined the struggle of the Palestinian people and their continued resistance against the occupying entity, despite all the massacres it commits against them, the stifling blockade  imposed on them, and the unlimited support that this entity enjoys from the United States and its allies.

He expressed great appreciation to Syria for its firm support for the Palestinian issue and the rights of the Palestinian people.
