Ankara, SANA- Turkish Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya said Wednesday that Attackers set off explosives and opened fire Wednesday at Turkey’s state-run aerospace and defense company TUSAS, killing four people and wounding more than a dozen.
Yerlikaya pointed out on the X platform that an attack targeted the facilities of the Turkish Aerospace Industries Company, which led to deaths and injuries.
In turn, Turkish media reported an explosion followed by gunfire at the scene, while Haber Turk television reported that hostages were held without giving further details.
According to photos broadcast by Turkish channels, thick white smoke rose after the explosion in front of the entrance to the company’s headquarters.
No party has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
