Activities of “From our Country” festival kick off, Homs

Homs-SANA- With the participation of more than a hundred entrepreneurs of micro, small and medium productive projects, from various governorates, the activities of the “From our Country” shopping festival kicked off today.

The festival is organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in cooperation with the Homs Chamber of Commerce.

The festival, held in al-Waer neighborhood, includes a variety of food and consumer products for entrepreneurs registered with the authority, in addition to a popular market for products from the southern region. It is also characterized by satisfying discounts for people with limited income, especially on school uniforms.

Following the opening, the Director General of the Authority, Dr. Thuraya Idlebi, indicated in a statement that the festival focused on small and micro projects to be an opportunity to introduce and market their products, noting that the authority provides various forms of support, including training and consulting, in addition to economic feasibility studies for their projects along with holding exhibitions and festivals and participating in them to market their various products.
