Moscow, SANA-Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for the Arab and African affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahian affirmed that Syria’s victory over terrorism is very imminent, saying that resistance, showed by the Syrian people under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, played the important role in clarifying reasons behind spread of terrorism in region.
“Iran will continue its support to Syria,” Abdullahian told SANA correspondent in Moscow, expressing satisfaction that a number of European countries and players started to reconsider their stances, describing the visits of EU delegations to Syria as an important step on the way to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis in the country.
He added that the talks he held at the Russian Foreign Ministry concentrated on the situation in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya and Palestine.
