Damascus, (SANA) –
Members of the Higher Relief Committee discussed on Tuesday facilitations for aid convoys to enter into Syria through the border crossings and ensure their delivery into all areas.
The committee stressed in a meeting facilitating the movement of foreign aid convoys through the border crossings without touching the national sovereignty, pointing out to the importance of the media outlets to be accurate regarding the humanitarian relief issue, particularly as there are foreign sides trying to politicize it.
Head of the Higher Relief Committee, Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Kinda al-Shammat, stressed the necessity of continued coordination between the committee and the relief subcommittees and the concerned authorities to distribute humanitarian aid based on data and lists set by the ministry to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people who really deserve.
