Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received Monday a delegation of the Federation of Arab Engineers, headed by Adel al-Hadithi.
President al-Assad affirmed the social and developmental role of Arab organizations and federations and their importance in creating an effective dialogue within the Arab society, which shares the same values and aspirations.
President al-Assad stressed the importance of activating dialogue, especially social dialogue, because society is the foundation of everything away from ideology devoid of implementation.
His Excellency pointed out that the Arab federations should work on building practical policies and creating strategic projects to achieve comprehensive development.
President al-Assad emphasized the importance of adhering to identity as a basic factor in the battle of steadfastness, which was embodied by the Palestinian people in confronting the Israeli enemy, stressing the option of resistance against the massacres of this enemy.
President al-Assad noted that despite all the pain, Palestinian society is showing more cohesion, strength and faith in its cause, while there is a disintegration in Israeli society in various aspects.
For their parts, members of the delegation affirmed the necessity of restoring consideration to joint Arab action through development projects and achieving accomplishments that lead to unifying efforts and concepts through joint experiences and exchanging expertise in a practical and purposeful manner.
