Rabat,SANA-Syria participated in the 28th meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization and the 69th session of the Executive Council, which will be held in the Moroccan capital Rabat from July 1 to 4.
In the delegation’s speech, the Assistant Minister of Transport for Air Transport Affairs, Eng. Moatasem Jumaa, expressed Syria’s aspiration for joint Arab action in serving civil aviation issues among Arab countries at the Arab and international levels, calling on airlines to use Syrian airspace for transit and landing purposes at Syrian airports.
In turn, the Director General of Syrian Airlines , Eng. Basem Mansour, noted that Syria provides all cooperation and facilities to Arab airlines wishing to return to Syrian airspace, whether for transit or landing, and is working to translate recommendations and decisions into reality in a way that serves the Arab aspirations that serve the work of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization.
