London, SANA- Oil prices rose on Monday amid expectation of higher demand Summer and continued geopolitical tensions in the middle East and other regions.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures rose 15 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $85.39 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by the same percentage 0.2 percent or 13 cents to 80.86.
The two crudes rose by about three percent last week, achieving their second consecutive weekly gain.
