Zahi Azrak Hospital and Forensic Medicine building put into service after rehabilitation, Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA-Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, has inaugurated Martyr Doctor Zahi Azraq Hospital in Bustan al-Basha neighborhood after it had been rehabilitated from the damage caused by terrorism.

The hospital includes 110 beds and 6 main blocks, including outpatient clinics, emergency, isolation and central vaccination, in addition to 10 departments for medical and administrative specialties.

Chairing a meeting in the hospital for medical staff in the Health Directorate and directors of medical bodies and hospitals in the governorate, Arnous stressed the government’s continued support of the health sector through reconstruction projects and rehabilitation of health facilities that were subjected to much destruction and sabotage as a result of terrorism and the earthquake disaster.

Arnous also inaugurated the Forensic Medicine building in the Jubb al-Qubba neighborhood after rehabilitating it following the damage it sustained as a result of terrorism. The building consists of two floors and a basement including all the departments and equipment designated for forensic medicine in accordance with the latest international standards.
