UNRWA: A food convoy for Gaza hit by Israeli naval gunfire

Geneva, SANA- The Israeli occupation forces deliberately prevented relief directed for the people of the northern Gaza Strip, bombing the agency’s food aid convoy prior to its arrival, The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said.

“This morning, a food convoy waiting to move into Northern Gaza was hit by Israeli naval gunfire – thankfully no one was injured”, Director of UNRWA Affairs in Gaza, Thomas White, posted on his X page.

This new crime by the occupation forces is a new challenge to international demands that stress the necessity of delivering humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, which has been subjected to brutal aggression for more than 4 months.
