Doha, SANA- Thanks to its won over the Indian counterpart, the Syrian football team qualified to the last 16 round of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 held in Qatar.
After emerging victorious in the match (1-0), and being among the best four teams which came third in the groups round leading to Group B, this is the first time for Syria to reach the qualifications to the 2nd round of Group 16 of AFC throughout its participation in this competition.
