Food packages delivered to besieged people in al-Yarmouk camp

Damascus, SANA-Supported by the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees (GAPAR), in cooperation with al-Wafa European convoy delivered on Monday aid packages to the families besieged by the armed terrorist organizations in al-Yarmouk camp in Damascus.

Director-General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA that 940 food packages were distributed to the families in the camp during 2 days, raising the number to 4280 of food packages distributed since March 5th and to 60310 since January.

He added that the Medical staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent treated the sick people and offered them medicine, evacuating 21 cases into Damascus hospitals.

 Mustafa affirmed that the total number of the patients who were evacuated from the camp since January 2014 reached at 4717.
