Damascus, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minster, Fayssal Mikdad, stressed Syria’s stance in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Mikdad received on Monday Deputy Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Jamil Mezher and an accompanying delegation.
The Syrian Minister called for the need to stop the genocide war launched by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
Mikdad condemned the Zionist entity’s attempts to justify its war under the pretext of “self-defense,” based on misleading interpretations of the international law, calling for bringing the Israeli officials into justice.
Mezher, in turn, expressed the Popular Front’s high appreciation of Syria, as leadership and people, for its clear and frank stance in support of the Palestinian issue.
