Caracas, SANA- Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, called on Tuesday on the world to take a step to stop the genocide by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
President Maduro called on the international community to hold a conference to realize peace and establish an independent Palestinian state.
“The world must reject the genocide against the Palestinians,” TASS News Agency quoted Venezuelan president as saying, adding that this is not a war, since mosques and churches are being shelled, and that means it is genocide.
Maduro went on saying that all Christians of Venezuela and the whole world, Catholics and Orthodox, must raise their voices to stop the war against Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
He underlined the necessity of holding an international conference that guarantees the Palestinians’ right of peace and independence of their state.
Maduro noted that Venezuela has sent 30 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza and will continue to provide aid for the Palestinians.
