Damascus, SANA-Interior Minister, Major General Mohammed al-Rahmoun, discussed with the Brazilian Ambassador in Damascus, André Santos, means of enhancing and developing joint cooperation in various fields, particularly in the security aspect.
The Ministry is keen to take care of the interests of the Brazilian community in Syria and provide all facilities to Brazilian citizens here and address their conditions, minister al-Rahmoun stressed.
He pointed out that the ties binding the two friendly countries are historical based on mutual respect between the two countries and their people.
The Brazilian ambassador, in turn, affirmed that he will exert every possible effort to strengthen these relations and develop them for the good and interest of the two friendly peoples.
