Union of Arab Chambers calls for removing unjust sanctions imposed on Syria

Manama, SANA- The Council of Union of Arab Chambers unanimously agreed to adopt a recommendation by Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce
to lift the unjust, unilateral coercive sanctions imposed on Syria to be later submitted to the UN, the European Union and the League of Arab States.

The move came during the participation of a delegation from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, headed by Mazen Hammad, Vice President of the Federation, in the meetings of the 134th session of the Council of the Federation of Chambers which was held in the Bahraini capital of Manama.

“17 Arab countries participated in the 2-day meetings as discussions focused on the mechanisms of activating the role of joint Arab chambers in serving the Arab business sector and boosting inter-trade among Arab, European and American states countries,” Hammad said in a statement to SANA correspondent .
