Syrian-Pakistani talks on implementing signed agreements

Damascus, SANA- Syria and Pakistan discussed cooperation in the agriculture field, in addition to the signed agreements between the two countries and means to boost them.

Agriculture Minister, Mohammad Hassan Qatana, during a meeting with Ambassador of Pakistan in Damasucs, Shahid Akhtar, stressed the necessity to upgrading the Syrian-Pakistani relations in all domains, particulary in economy and agriculture.

He referred to the scientific and technical agreements signed between both sides and the importance of updating them in a way that meets the requirements of the next stage, in addition to many other issues related to import, export and investment.

In turn, the Pakistani Ambassador pointed out to the most important products of his country, including dates, rice, wheat, milk, sugar and agricultural tractors, stressing the importance of coordination between the two sides to enhance trade exchange as the Pakistani markets needs olive oil, nuts, dried fruits, and others products that can be imported from Syria.
