Temperatures around average, rain showers expected over coastal areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise to become around average as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by northwesterly in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Wednesday bulletin, that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, with a chance of rain showers in the coastal areas, as the weather will be pleasant with high humidity over western regions.

The Department warned against the formation of fog, particularly in central region and Qalamoun during the early morning hours.

The winds will be southwesterly between low to moderate in speed over the coastal region, and the sea will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35 / 21, Daraa 35 / 21, Homs 31 / 21, Tartous 33 / 26, Aleppo 35 / 23, Lattakia 33 / 26.
