Syrian-Iranian talks on developing cooperation in communications, information technology

Tehran, SANA- Syria and Iran discussed means of bolstering the joint cooperation in communications and information technology fields, and establishing markets for Iranian technology companies in Syria.

That came during a meeting between Communications and Technology Minister. Eng. Iyad al-Khatib with his Iranian counterpart, Issa Zarepour in Tehran Monday.

Both sides underscored boosting the joint cooperation in the field of communications and information technology between the two countries, in addition to implementing bilateral cooperation documents and agreements signed during the recent visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to Syria.

They also discussed previous agreements regarding establishing private Iranian companies in the field of equipment and services related to communications and information technology in Syria.
