Geneva, SANA- Ways to develop joint work in the health field, which will reflect positively on reaching comprehensive health coverage was the main point of discussion during the bilateral meetings held by the Syrian delegation on the sidelines of the 76th Session of the World Health Assembly.
Minister of Health, Dr. Hasan al-Ghobash, who is heading the Syrian delegation, expressed thanks to Palestinian Health Minister, Dr. Mai al-Kaila, Lebanese Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Abiad, and Romanian Health Minister, Alexandru Ravella, for their humanitarian stance during the earthquake and for the assistance that was provided.
Dr. Al-Ghobash also discussed with his counterparts the current health conditions in the world and ways of boosting bilateral cooperation between Syria and Palestine, Lebanon and Romania, with the aim of improving health services to enhance the health of citizens.
