Jeddah, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad has stressed that “the ties binding Syria and Lebanon are close” and coordination between them continues in various domains of the two countries’ concern
Dr. Mikdad said, in a statement following his meeting with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bou Habib, on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings for the Arab summit in Jeddah, “the meeting was friendly” and reflect the close relations between the two countries.
Dr. Mikdad added that “we touched upon the issue of the refugees in Lebanon and coordination between delegations of Syria and Lebanon in the field of the two countries concern,” asserting that “the atmospheres are good.”
He pointed out that the preparations for the summit are positive and There are no problematic topics.
On the sidelines of the preparatory meetings for the Arab summit scheduled to be held in Saudi city of Jeddah, Dr. Mikdad met separately his Tunisian Nabil Ammar, Omani Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi and Jordanian, Ayman Safadi, counterparts.
