Russia, India discuss bilateral relations between both countries

New Delhi, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar the bilateral relations between the two countries and a number of international and regional issues.

Both sides noted during the meeting in the Indian Goa resort on Thursday, as Lavrov will participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), their deep appreciation for the dynamics of cooperation in the main areas of the distinguished strategic partnership in particular between the two countries, according to RT website.

Both sides also affirmed their intention to enhance coordination activities to develop a common approach within the framework of interaction in the most important international platforms, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the BRICS Group, the United Nations and the Group of Twenty (G20).

The two sides agreed to continue to follow the path of building a fair, multipolar world order of relations between countries.
